It’s always an exciting day when we see members of the FMI Emerge community being celebrated in the news!
SmartyPits (FMI Emerge Subscriber) and The Honey Pot Company (FMI Emerge Mentor) were featured in a Hampton Roads, Virginia, TV segment in honor of International Women’s Day. Both women-owned companies are passionate about making better-for-you health and wellness products.
SmartyPits is an aluminum-free, paraben-free, phthalate-free natural deodorant that really works. The SmartyPits team uses thoughtfully sourced and cruelty-free ingredients, none of their manufacturing is outsourced, and they work hard to make sure each SmartyPits is poured with love and hope. Their containers are 100 percent recyclable–including their labels–through most curbside recycling programs. Each stick of SmartyPits is mixed, poured, and labeled by hand by members of the small-but-mighty SmartyPits Squad in Tehachapi, California.
In addition, SmartyPits donates $0.30 from every large stick to breast cancer research and free deodorant to oncology centers, survivor support events and non-profit groups. The Sensitive Skin Formula uses magnesium instead of baking soda for customers who are topically sensitive to baking soda.
The Honey Pot Company seeks to promote female health through their all-natural, plant-based feminine care products. They tout themselves as the first feminine care system “powered by herbs,” with various systems designed to work with each woman’s body, its unique needs, and stage in life. The FMI Emerge community is grateful for the support and expertise of the Honey Pot Company, and the guidance they provide to emerging brand companies.
